What is Recession Camp?

Recession Campers hold events in working hours so job seekers can get away from their PCs, meet new people, network and have fun!

Looking for a new job is a full time job, but don't forget to keep dipping your toes in life.

Finding a new job is hard, and it's easy to get stuck in a grind of job site searches, resume editing and paralysis in front of daytime TV.

Instead, why not set up an Event to meet other people who're in the same boat you are?  Or check out the meetups already posted and join us?  We're all in this together - let's hang out!

Recession Camp in Seattle is inspired by the organization of the same name set up by Andrew Brenner and Michael Feldman in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2001.
